What Size Track Do I Need?

In this illustration we explain how to figure out what size track you will need with your barn door hardware kit. The track length should be 2 X the size of the barn door. Please DO NOT confuse the size of the barn door with the size of the doorway opening. For example the above door is 48" wide, but the doorway opening it covers is 45" wide. We manufacture our doors + 3" over the actual doorway opening to insure complete doorway coverage and privacy.
